We collect the following categories of information when you use QuickPredict:

• Account information: email address, name, and hashed password provided at registration.
• Usage data: stock symbols searched, predictions viewed, features accessed, and AI analyst queries (count only — not content).
• Payment information: processed and stored securely by Stripe. QuickPredict never stores raw card numbers.
• Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and pages visited, collected automatically via server logs.
• Cookies: session tokens and preference cookies necessary for authentication and theme settings.

• To create and manage your account and subscription.
• To provide, operate, and improve the Service.
• To enforce usage limits (e.g., AI query quotas) and prevent abuse.
• To send transactional emails such as receipts and account notifications.
• To analyze aggregate usage patterns to improve features — we never sell individual usage data.
• To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with:

• Service providers: Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), Polygon.io (market data), and Vercel (hosting). Each is bound by data processing agreements.
• Legal authorities: when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of QuickPredict or its users.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial transaction records for up to 7 years).

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, hashed passwords, Row Level Security (RLS) on database tables, and regular security reviews. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

QuickPredict uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Vercel Analytics for aggregate, privacy-preserving usage statistics — no cross-site tracking or advertising cookies are used. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this will impair core functionality.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you become aware that a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
